At Certified Angus Beef, our baseline standard for animal care is the Beef Quality Assurance Certification program (BQA).
BQA provides farmers and ranchers with educational resources and verifies through testing that anyone who handles cattle are working to follow best practices for humane animal care.

Centuries ago, bison roamed the prairies, stimulating grass growth and fertilizing the land naturally. Their migration patterns allowed grasses long periods of rest to grow and recover while sequestering carbon from the air. Today, cattle ranchers mirror this process through meticulous land management. Without cattle, the essential grasslands ecosystem—responsible for sequestering carbon, land protection, water filtration, and diverse wildlife habitats—would vanish.

RURAL RELIEF FUND
The Certified Angus Beef® brand Rural Relief Fund supports farmers and ranchers across the nation in times of crisis, often in the wake of natural disasters. Since 2019, the Rural Relief Fund has contributed over $100,000 to communities in need.
SERVICE STARTS AT HOME
Certified Angus Beef encourages community service by engaging as a team in annual service projects and providing each staff member with paid community service hours to make an individual contribution to their communities.
